Every task can open a how-to: steps, materials, where things are kept, warnings, photos. Whoever gets the task does not need to know beforehand how it works.
Fair, not just equal
Rotation within groups, free pick-up or fair distribution by actual effort – absences and eligibility included. No aggressive leaderboard.
Rewards that motivate
Points fill the personal goal, the group goal and the family goal at once – and unlock rewards: pick the dinner, movie night, cinema trip. Cooperation beats competition.
Kids without their own account
One parent account, any number of profiles. Kids and guests switch with a PIN – also on the kitchen tablet. Plus the simple view with their own background and avatar.
Proof when it matters
Simple tick – or a required checklist, photo, signature, reading and four-eyes confirmation. The history stays immutable.

Area Pets → object Rabbits → knowledge Rabbit care → task template Feed the rabbits, daily in the morning, kids in rotation → today: Max by 8:00, done at 7:42. You maintain the foundation once, collabDoo creates the concrete task every day. What is finished stays as it was.

Every completed task earns points. Points fill goals – your own, the group’s and the whole family’s. And behind every goal waits something to look forward to. No punishment, no leaderboard: whoever joins in wins together with everyone.
- ⭐Collect points5 points for the rabbits, 20 for the bathroom, a bonus for volunteers and Sunday duties. Every completion counts right away – from the widget, too.
- 🎯Fill goals“Max: 100 this month”, “kids: 250 together”, “family: 600” – one completion feeds all three rings. Plus streaks: seven days with nothing overdue.
- 🎁Unlock the rewardPick the dinner, movie night, stay up longer, a cinema trip for everyone. Automatic or with approval – and in currency mode as a balance to redeem.
Points are optional and can be switched off per household or set to “progress only”. There are no minus points.

Frequently asked questions
Which devices is collabDoo available for?
collabDoo is a native app for iPhone and iPad from iOS 17 – with widgets for the home and lock screen, Siri shortcuts and Live Activities. An Android version is planned. All data lives on our servers, not on the device – so household, tasks, knowledge and points will be available in the Android app right away, and mixed households with iPhone and Android work on the same data.
Do kids need their own account?
No. One parent account (e-mail/password or Sign in with Apple) is enough. Kids and guests are profiles in the household and switch with a PIN – no e-mail address needed. That is the clean solution for children under 13 and also works on a shared kitchen tablet.
What does collabDoo cost?
For families, school classes and shared flats collabDoo is free – and stays free. We show no ads and sell no data. collabDoo is a passion project of Code Piraten GmbH; we earn our living with ticketYoo, guestoo and workYoo. Only for commercial use in larger teams do we reserve the right to charge something in the future.
Where is our data stored?
On servers in Germany, operated by Code Piraten GmbH from Essen. Uploaded files are stored encrypted (AES-256), photos are saved without location data. You can delete members, the household or your account completely at any time. More under privacy & security.
Does collabDoo work without internet?
The Today view is cached and completions are queued and sent as soon as there is a connection again – in the basement or at the clubhouse with weak reception, for example.
Can I use collabDoo in several households?
Yes. One account can be a member of several households – at home and in the club, for example. Each household has its own members, tasks, points and goals.
Who is behind it?
Code Piraten GmbH from Essen, Germany – software development since 2015, including ticketYoo for guest management. collabDoo is a standalone product that grew out of our own family life.
